What is Filament Fury?

It is Christmas morning, 2009. Under the tree is a flat box of laser-cut plywood, a bag of bolts, and a note that says it is a printer. You are in a trailer with a breaker panel that trips if you run the kettle and the printer at once.

From that box to a city fab floor in 2077: seven eras, forty-six machines drawn from the real ones that shipped in each year, and a shop that only grows if you learn the thing the real shops learned.

What you do in the game

Start like a starter. Three honest kit printers to choose from, cash in a tin, and a mail-order spool that takes real days to arrive. Assemble the machine yourself.
Print, fail, and fix it. Fifty-three ways a print goes wrong, every one a real failure with its real cause and the real fix: spaghetti, heat creep, a wet spool, a belt that walked loose, a nozzle that needs a cold pull.
Do the work with your hands. Twenty-four hands-on jobs on a phone screen: bed levelling on five points, e-steps, flow, a PID tune on a real heater curve, a temperature tower, retraction and the fan.
Run a shop, not a spreadsheet. Inbound orders, a tender board with real terms, a website of your own, clients who do not pay, resellers who copy your best seller, staff to train, a power panel that says no, and a landlord.
Move up when you choose. Every site you leave keeps running.
Face them, if you want to. A turn-based lane against every Karen, reseller and clipboard the district can produce. Optional; nothing is gated on it.
Keep going after the ending. The city keeps ordering, a little bigger every quarter, for as long as you want to run the shop.

What it teaches about 3D printing

Level a bed by feel, and watch the opposite corner rise when you tighten one. Dry a spool before it prints like foam. Load filament the way you load a real one. Measure a part with a caliper before you promise a tolerance. Chase an invoice. Buy filament before it gets expensive.
